Bundesverband Hochschulkommunikation

con gressa has long been closely associated with university communication and its key players, not least because managing director Susann Morgner worked in this field for more than ten years before joining the agency. Since 2011, we have been involved in the programme design and the organisation of the annual conferences of the German Association for University Communication, which take place at different venues throughout Germany. As of 2014, we have also been serving as the administrative office for the now more than 1,000 members.

With around 650 participants from universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the 50th Annual Conference of the Federal Association of University Communication in September 2019 in Cologne was the largest of its kind to date. The conference programme included more than 40 lectures, discussions and workshops and also offered plenty of opportunity for an informal exchange of ideas. For three days, the topics discussed included digitisation, political communication, university communication as an important pillar of transfer, data protection and crisis communication at universities. As in previous years, con gressa was responsible for programme planning and participant management, publications, sponsoring and logistics.
