At the Berlin Institute of Medical Systems Biology (BIMSB), approximately 250 researchers will investigate how genes control cell life and thus influence health and disease. The BIMSB is located in a new, architecturally renowned research building in Berlin-Mitte.
The opening on February 26, 2019 was attended by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The Chancellor was able to hear about the excellent research at the BIMSB during a lab visit before the opening ceremony. Together with the planning team of the communications department of the Max Delbrück Center, con gressa helped ensure that the opening was a great success for everyone involved.
